This may seem a minor issue, but it's a little thing that's been bothering me
for a long time.

In Outlook 2003, when I prepare a message in HTML format, I sometimes have
several attachments. Sometimes I'll already have a couple of attachments and
decide to add another. I'd like the attachments to appear in the Attachments
list in a certain order. But as far as I can tell, Outlook always adds new
attachments to the end of the list.

Is there any way to insert an attachment at a specific place in the
attachments list?

Only by adding them one at a time in the order you want them to appear. The
order is really irrelevant, however. Just note within the message the order
your recipients should access them.
