You are allowed to run the same copy on a laptop and a desktop.

As long as it's not at the same time.

MS will allow you to install a copy on a desktop and a laptop with the
assumption that only you will be using it in either case. When you go to
install on the laptop you'll need to activate it through telephone support
(I forget if Fp 2002 requires activation or not) as the automatic activation
won't work.

The existing licence allows installation on 1 desktop and 1 laptop - where
the primary user owns both machines.

I have a desktop and 2 laptops. I want to share a notebook on the desktop PC
with one of the 2 laptops at anyone time. Only one machine at a time will be
actually using OneNote. The desktop is always on so the notebook can be
shared. I can I do this without buying another copy of OneNote?

Thanks,

Alan

Ask your OneNote question in a OneNote newsgroup
- this is a FrontPage newsgroup
For any Office Program you are limited to 1 Desktop and 1 Laptop per copy owned/licensed
