Add and Remove Programs take too long to populate

When I goto Add and Remove Programs from the Control Panel. It takes several
minutes to populate the list. This has never happened before.

When the list does appear it is correct as to what I have installed on my
computer.

If someone can help with this problem I would be greatly appreciated.
