Add adaptec driver to Server 2003 install CD

Hello,

This is a long sad story involving HP server that cannot work
it's scsi controller or network card without drivers and has no floppy
drive facility. We have tried a USB floppy but while that
allows the driver to load into memory, when the install program
looks for it to install it on the disk the floppy has moved from A: to
C:.

Is there a quick hack, or any other method of
adding some Adaptec Raid driver files to a Server 2003 installation CD.

I can edit files, create boot CD etc. I have been doing a bit
of research and can find nothing that looks like I could get it
working in less that about a week and even then the outcome
does not seem certain.

I have removed the NT directory from the following diaplay.

It looks so easy:-

E:\>dir /s
Volume in drive E is FLOPPY
Volume Serial Number is B649-9721

Directory of E:\

06/09/2002 14:57 37 hraidsk1
20/09/2001 11:44 8,211 txtsetup.oem
22/11/2005 16:48 <DIR> win32
2 File(s) 8,248 bytes

Directory of E:\win32

22/11/2005 16:48 <DIR> .
22/11/2005 16:48 <DIR> ..
01/12/2003 19:11 8,860 a320raid.cat
11/08/2003 12:09 22,731 a320raid.inf
16/10/2003 17:04 242,130 a320raid.sys
01/12/2003 19:11 8,431 adhraid.cat
04/03/2003 10:31 1,559 adhraid.inf
5 File(s) 283,711 bytes

This MUST be really easy if only I knew which
files to put where and how to tell windows to load them.

Thanks.

General idea - works for XP/2003 just fine.

Have used the method to add many SCSI and SATA RAID controllers so I could
install without the F6.

Thanks for this, looks good. Not yet working though.

I also found:
http://www.nliteos.com/

Integrates drivers, service packs, etc into Windows
Installation CD's, prepares iso boot images ready to burn.

Seems very nice.

Can't vouch for it since we seem to have a hardware issue now.

Server has been apart, rebooted so many times during this mess
that it seems unwell.

Thanks.
