Open the Character Map.
Start | Run | Type: charmap | Click OK
Or click on the Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\Character Map
Click the Help button and see:
Finding characters
Insert a special character into a document
You can copy and paste them into your Wordpad, NotePad or Word documents.
Also if you know the keystroke you can use that instead. Like Alt + 0241
for example. Alt + 0241 = Latin small letter N with the tilde = ñ
