I just got a new Gateway PC w/ WinXP but it won't accept the software
for my Samsung LCD so the display comes in washed out & hard to read.
Samsung says that they have no software for XP but only Win95 & 98.
Is there any software to make other softwares think my XP is a Win98?
Or is there any prog that can act as a go-between between my Win98
software & XP app?

If this is a problem that requires special software for your monitor, you
are likely out of luck. If, on the other hand, you have updated your
drivers for graphics, checked to make sure you have the latest XP drivers
for your card you should do so as that might resolve the issue.
