I have 2 Snap 4500 NAS servers. I powered them both down via the web
interface administrative page. Once I restart them one came on just
fine, the other Snap did not.
The fans and the power are on BUT the network card and hard drive LEDs
are not on.
I cannot ping the server so of course I cant get to the administrative
page. I powered down
the snap with the power button on the front and unplugged the power
for about 10 minutes
and then tried to restart it. Nothing!! No hard drive lights or NIC
lights. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this server
back online? These are practically brand new, and unfortunately
Adaptec only offers a 90 day phone/email support.
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
