Hello Everyone,

A while back I built a system to play with W2K3 server, out of some bits I
had lying around.

MSI 6369 Motherboard (Latest Bios)
Perntium III 1 GHz 100FSB
2 x 64MB PC100 Memory
Adaptec 29160 Scsi Controller Bios 3.10
Quantum Atlas 10K III 18 GB U160 Scsi Drive.

In case of any problems I first installed windows xp so system is dual boot.

Both os's run fine and are very stable apart from, whenever the xp system
goes into S3 standby, on resuming, it always crashes with a 0X000000D1
error, driver_Irql_not_less_or_equal with the driver being identified as
SCSIPORT.SYS.

This problem does not occur with S1 standby, neither does it occur at all in
W2K3 server. So clearly a Windows xp problem. All updates have been applied
to xp. I have the latest via 4 in 1 drivers 4.49 and motherboard drivers
from the msi website, and the latest drivers from the adaptec website. The
29160 3.10 bios is also the latest.

Anyone have any ideas ?

Paul
