I updated my files for AntiSpyware and ran a quick scan.
Nothing showed up as captured. I ran Ad-Ware which also
scans memory, files and registry. Ad-Ware reported
finding the following in my cookies directory ...
myaccount@2o7[1].txt
myaccount@adrevolver[1].txt
myaccount@advertising[1].txt
myaccount@atdmt[2].txt
myaccount@cgi-bin[2].txt
(E-Mail Removed)[1].txt
myaccount@doubleclick[1].txt
(E-Mail Removed)[1].txt
myaccount@hitbox[1].txt
myaccount@mediaplex[1].txt
myaccount@overture[1].txt
myaccount@questionmarket[1].txt
(E-Mail Removed)[1].txt
(E-Mail Removed)[2].txt

Am I doing something wrong? Am I misinformed about these
spyware entries?

Suggestions welcome (including sending screen shot of Ad-
Ware capture to someone who might find it useful)

~douglas

Don't make the mistake I did. Do not delete those in the
NoAdware program. Close it, go to where you CAN safely
delete your cookies and run the scan again. If you erase
your cookies before you scan, you should have no problems.

Adware does remove the files. What concerns me is they
come back again and MSFT AntiSpyware is not catching this
particular list. Not sure why it's not; my expectation is
that it would. I figure I'm doing something wrong or
these files would be caught and not loaded by MSFT
AntiSpyware. Am I missing something?

These are cookies, and not detected or removed in the beta of Antispyware.
