Hi,

I get the following eventID in my Directory Service log on a DC with fails
to become GC.

Source: NTDS Replication
EventID: 1083
Description:
Replication warning: The directory is busy. It couldn't update object
DC=..,DC=..,DC=.. with change made by directory GUID_msdcs.<domain name>.
Will try again later.

EventID: 1061
Description:
Internal error. The directory replication agent (DRA) call returned error
8438.

Source: NTDS KCC
EventID: 1265
The attempt to establish a replication link with partners...
<PARTNER NAMES>
failed with the following status: The directory service is too busy to
complete the replication operation at this time. The record data is the
status code. This operation will be retired.

Do anyone know a solution?

Thanks.

Increase the size of Virtual memory, and that should fix the issue. Applied it on one of the servers i was facing this issue on, and the issue was resolved.
