I have installed printers in Active Directroy and the
show up no problem, but out of the blue the will
disappear and after the spooler is restarted the will
show back up. Any ideas? We have a very large AD
enterprise, have run all the laset updates and there are
no events in the event logs. In order to use them again
have to unpublish them and then re-publish. The disappear
from AD and there not usable anymore.

Thanks

Will this happen to all printers? shared printers from computers published
in AD, or manually created printer objects in AD?
