Hi ;

Can Active Directory GPOs (win2000 / win2003) achieve this & how ?

1) Rename of local administrator account to a universal name and assign a
universal password for each client computers on the domain, instead of
having to do it manually on each client computers.

2) Rename of client computer name thru AD, instead of having to do it
manually on each client computers.

That applies to the local administrator account (on each PC), and not the
domain administrator or system administrator right ?

What abt the passwords for these renamed local admin account ?

Can GPOs do for rename Computer name too (still reside same domain)?
