Hi there,
In W23 server AD will the client PC(XP, W2K) query login servers
across all my enterprise if my subnet DC is down? Also question re.
browsing company wide resources across servers, is the client PC doing
the query or the server on behalf of the client.
What communication ports are used for AD?
Thank you, T

Hello Tester,

If your machine is configured to use also a DNS server in another subnet
then yes, otherwise it can not authenticate. But it can take longer time
if your local dc is down.
