Hi am using Ad-Aware SE 1.06r1, and SE1R57 26.07.2005 definition
loaded. SE1R58 28.07.2005 is available but when I try to update I get
the the error message "The downloaded definitions file could not be
read, please update again" I have retried several times to no avail.
Is this just a server problem? Any others having this problem? I shall
try again tomorrow. Jim

I am having that problem as well.
I went to the maker site and download the update from there.
It solve the problem.

Same problem here too. But I had a thought ( very unusual for me ) I
disabled my firewall ( sygate )and the definitions downloaded no problem
... could it be your firewall perhaps .. just a suggestion

I had this problem for a few days but have just been able to update
normally. It must have been a temporary glitch on their server.
