It doesn't matter what they post on their web site: the rubber meets the
road when you install the program. You're just restating what's on their
web site; I'm talking about my actual experience. Which is the truth?
When you install the program -- the brand new free version 1.06 -- you
agree to the terms of the actual text, and that states that you'll pay
after the first year. As with most software, if you don't agree by
clicking the checkbox, the installation will abort.
Check it out! All you have to do is download the new version and install
it. I'm one of those strange people who actually reads this stuff, and
that's what it said.
Now, I suspect that Lavasoft put this into the software in error -- and
that this statement was taken from a regular paid version. However...
