After reviewing previous posts here and seeing that the first response
question is to look in the Deleted Items folder...

I actually did delete the Junk E-Mail folder. How can I recreate the folder
and reactivate its use and accessibility as originally designed and intended
within MS Outlook? I even downloaded and looked at that MDBVU32 application,
but that didn't serve what I needed.

Thank you...

It doesn't seem like it is that difficult to do...if it gets to the Deleted
Items folder, and then that folder gets emptied...

If I click on the icon on the folderbar in MS Outlook, it says that either
the folder was deleted or it cannot locate it.

Additionally, I just opened my mail in Windows Live, and there are messages
in a Junk folder there and also there are new messages in my Inbox in Live
that don't appear in MS Outlook, even if I click Send/Receive Mail. I know
the incoming and outgoing server settings in Outlook are right as I worked
with Chat Support this morning.

I am using Outlook 2007 - and there is no way I can delete the Junk
E-mail folder from within Outlook.

My apologies, but I failed to note that I am in MS Outlook 2000. A little
behind the times, I know, but it's what I've got to work with. Anyway, as I
scan down the folder list, I have the standard items:

Personal Folders:
Calendar
Contacts
Deleted Items
Drafts
Inbox
Journal
Notes
Outbox
Sent Items
Tasks

Under the Outlook Shortcuts column to the left of the Folder List, I have:

Outlook Today
Inbox
Junk E-mail (that's where I get the response that either it's deleted or
cannot find the file)
Calendar
Etc...

If it's there somewhere, I don't/can't find it...

Should I consider reinstalling Outlook?

Outlook 2000? You're more than a "little" behind the times. Outlook
2000 has at least one problem when Vista is the OS... it can't seem to
remember passwords.

>Should I consider reinstalling Outlook?

Probably.

If you get an option to "repair" when you try to reinstall it (2003
gives that option), do that. Otherwise I would guess that a reinstall
is called for.
