Hello:

I have a file server that has a compressed volume. I want to uncompress it
but I need to determine the actual uncompressed size. Is there a way to do
this?

Really depends on the file type. You probably got somewhere between 1.5x and
2x compression.

Thanks for replying...

So I guess I will just have to estimate it? No real calculation...

Actually you can. A quick test revealed that you can look at
Folder|Properties|General

Size: is the uncompressed space
Size on disk: is the actual space

But plan on some overhead or freeboard to accomplish the decompression.
