I have a workbook created with the 1st tab being used for a common area for input of general data. This sheet uses ActiveX controls. When the workbook is opened the message for enabling ActiveX comes up forcing the user to select yes or no. Until this morning it worked fine. Now the ActiveX prompt asking to load Activex does not come up when the file is opened and the sheet seems to be stuck in design mode but when I tell it to exit design mode it does seem to actually be in design mode. Any ideas as to why the ActiveX is not loading as it was?

If I open another copy of the same workbook the ActiveX works as it should. It is just this particular saved file that is not working correctly.
