Hi all,

I am using Datastream Advance for Office version 4.0 on Excel 2002
(10.4302.4219) SP-2.

As soon as I have made a table and filled it with data from the Datastream
server, I save the document. When I reopen it, I receive the following error:

"This application is about to initialize ActiveX controls using persisted
data. The data may be a virus. The controls will be initialized using default
settings and the existing data will be removed from the document"

after which I can only press "OK" and my queries are gone.

How do I make Excel tolerate the ActiveX controls in the workbook?

Many thanks for helping me out.

Ralph

Could be your Virus scan working. What brand do you have?
