activex controlsand cookies

mt computer says my activex controls are not set to allow
certain downloads and my browser is not set to allow
cookie ....ihave tried everything i know of to fix these
problem ...please help me

open up internet options from the Tools menu in IE6.
Click the privacy tab/ advanced to see what your cookies
are set to.. If your're interested in a semblance of
privacy, accept first-party cookies, and block third-party.

For activex control, select the security tab, click the
internet "zone" (top left) then look at the specific settings
in custom level, or set to default.
