When loading pages with embedded QuickTime movies or PDF
files I get a warning message:

This page provides potentially unsafe information to
AcitveX control. Your current security settings prohibit
running controls in this manner. As a result, this page
may not display correctly.

I have tried changing the security settings in Internet
Options, up, down, default and custom with no effect.

Desparately need help.

That message is also given if a page contains a Java applet
and Java support is disabled. The more general point is to consider
the possibility that the message could be erroneous but an attempt to
indicate a different problem.

Updating both Quicktime and Adobe Acrobat to the latest
versions solved the problem.
