I have used the getObject method and if nothing is returned I have used
CreateObject to return on object. Outlook is installed on the machine. It
works fine on my machine but for some reason it won't work on a client
machine which had an earlier version. It only seems to have happened since
Chriitmas. I have all office updates installed on my machine however my
client only has specific security patches installed. I'm running out of
ideas why the activeX control continues to say that outlook (or word) is not
installed. I have also checked browser settings as well as other security
settings. Can you suggest any more advice on how to resolve this.
