ActiveX control removed unexpectedly

I have noticed that when I am logged into MS XP
Professional as an Administrator (only) and I select
Tools | Internet Options | Delete Files within IE
Explorer 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633 to remove any
Temporary Internet Files, this also removes a required
Active-X control that is installed to use a corporate web
application.

Has anyone seen this happen and have a resolution?
Are there policy settings that may have changed this
behaviour?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

SJC.
