ActiveSync how to keep a connection until desktop RAPI app is finished

Anyone have an idea how i can keep activesync connect until my desktop app
is finished?

If the user configures activesync to disconnect after activesync is done
then it also disconnects my desktop RAPI app. If i can keep activesync
connected until my app has finished the problem would be solved.
