I have recently purchased a Sprint 7600 (wmobile 5 + phone) and when trying
to sync Outlo9ok (calender and contacts) get the following message: Cannot
synchronize with the Outlook profile you aare using, because a different
profile was previously set up or the profile is passwoed protected. Please
oopen Outlook using the appropppriate profile. Support code: 850300if
Can anyone pointme in the right direction?

Are you running ActiveSync 4.2?
The error is quite clear; you've configured your mobile to synchronize with
a different mail profile than you have Outlook running in right now. If this
is the correct mail profile reconfigure your mobile to synch with this mail
profile by setting up the partnership in ActiveSynch again.

I'm having the same error message and am using ActiveSync 4.5.0

My phone is T-Mobile DASH and I actually want to use it with two different
outlook configurations. Is it possible?

Primarily I use the phone to sync with work-based Outlook which is wireless
sync to Exchange server. It is set up and works fine.

I also want to sync with my PC at home using USB and ActiveSync to Outlook
(not exchange) to keep my calendar and contacts synchronized. (I surely don't
want the email to co-mingle.)

I was able to do this with my Palm-based machine previously using Palm
Destop at home and Outlook at work (using Chapura PocketMirror).

Can I duplicate this with Windows Mobile, ActiveSync and Outlook in both
places? How?

I use ActiveSync to sync a mobile device to two separate Outlook instances,
so it should.

Then don't sync the Inbox in the home partnership.

When you set up a partnership, you have to tell ActiveSync that you intend
to sync the device to two PCs. Did you do that?
