I am using Outlook 2007 and ActiveSync 4.5, trying to sync with Dell Axim
x50v. I get a message from ActiveSync saying :Synchronization cannot be
completed because Microsoft Outlook cannot open the Task folder. Close
Outlook and the start Outlook again. Once Outlook is running, disconnect
your mobile device and reconnect. If the problem persists, reinstall
Outlook."

Calendar and Contacts, as well as Tasks won't synch. I have followed the
instructions in the message, reinstalled Office 2007 3 times and just Outlook
one additional time. I have tried ActiveSync 4.2 and reinstalled 4.5. I
spent 3 hours talking with Dell who, finally concluded and insisted that the
problem is with Outlook.

I can't find anything in the tech files. Does anyone have any suggestions
about what could be wrong or what I might do to fix it? Thanks.

With what kind of mail account type are you trying to sync? In case you are
using a pst-file scan it for errors with scanpst.exe.
