My windows media player recently started displaying an "ActiveMovie Window"
when i play video files. If i open the media player it looks the same, i
can go to the quick access panel and choose a drive to read from and the
playlist from the cd displays in the playlist column. when i play any of
the video files, a seperate window apears with no menus only the regular
minimize, resize and close buttons and in the window title bar it says
"ActiveMovie Window". my original windows media player window does not
close and i have to use it to control the video on the "ActiveMovie Window".
i know exactly when this started too. i was on bodybuilding.com and i
clicked a link to show a video and this "ActiveMovie Window" popped up and
all video files have played like this since. for the life of me i cant
figure out how to get it back to the regular way, can anyone help?
