Here is the problem(and I've check several settings also)... it appears my
Active X might be corroded. The problem in particular is when i'm trying to
use the IWON Prize Machine @ www.iwon.com, after I click the download link,
it doesn't take. It goes to a page stating that the Active X yellow bar
should be appearing in IE and it doesn't. I've check my settings to make sure
everything is right, and it still doesn't come up. Any assistance would be
greatly appreciated

Your security settings and applications are protecting you from that spyware-ridden website.

Soooo...what do you think PA Bear and the rest of us here are? GoBots? We
*are* "real people".

See...here's how it works in the newsgroups like this one.......all of us
responders here, who are volunteers, btw, can only provide the information
to try and help resolve your problem. But, it is up to you, the poster, to
either take the advice, or keep the problem. The *real person* where you
take your machine will likely do the same thing you were advised to do here,
and charge you for it. Then wait happily until you soon return with the
same problem. They will soon be enjoying a vacation in Hawaii on your
dollars, while you are busily seeking another *real person* to fix your
machine in their absence so you can continue to go to IWON to reinfect it.

Let the games begin!
