I am running Windows XP Home Edition... Service Pack 2. I recently installed
a program from a cert prep CD. After installation, I click on the program to
start it, and get the following error message:
Application Message
An unanticipated error has occured in the application. Display [LocalWare]
[429] ActiveX component can't create object. Would appreciate any help on how
to fix this. Thanks

I'd google with the name of the application and a portion of the error
message. Unless it's a pretty obscure application someone somewhere else has
probably had the same problem and started a thread on it. If you know who
made it, then search their website for faqs, support forums etc too. Failing
that, email the makers.
