Hello:

I am running Microsoft Access application on 4 workstations (Microsoft
Office 2003/windows XP). When I am trying to run the same applicagtion from
the 5th machine I am getting the following error message when trying to open
the application swichboard form:

"runtime error 149 active x component can't create object"

I believe, I enabled sandbox at some point and was playing with macro
security levels, tried to install Jet 4.0 SP 8 (it was telling me that I
already have a newer version), etc. I upgraded all machines from Office 2002
to Office 2003.

I removed Office and installed it back with no change, error 149 keeps
coming back. I checked for the current Windows updates, etc. I can open
other forms in the application but the Swichboard comes with the runtime
error....

Do you have any suggestions what should I do next - I need to move forward
and this is holding me back... please help!

Thanks

I am not s

Try to register the DAO dll using regsvr32.
like here:

ACC2002: Err Msg: "ActiveX Component Can't Create Object"
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;319844
