When I double click an icon, it opens in the "restored down" mode. How do I
change my settings so that when I double click to open icons, they open in
the "Maximized" mode. ie full screen at open.
can anyone solve this question for me??

Right click the icon and select properties. On the shortcut tab is
little selection window called Run. It has options to start in
normal, minimized, or maximized window.

Thank you Barry (wherever in the world you are). So simple and it fixed the
problem.
