Hi i'm running windows 95 on an old compaq computer and made a serious mistake. I was trying to make an additional partition (D) because my computer only has A & C and wasnt paying attention to what I was doing and made the ext. my operating or active partition. Know the computer is trintryingboot from that and it keeps saying missing operating system and thats as far as it will go. Is there any way to fix this. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

There is only one solution to your problem and that unfortunately is to do a fresh install

Well if that's the only way O.K. Can any one tell me where to start and what I need to do to get past the "missing operating system message" to get to that point. The only thing I can get to right know is the set up menu by pressing F2 other than that I'm stuck.
