Hi,

When I change the Windows desktop's settings, I receive the following
message.
(In some cases, I receive this messeage twice.)

"Active Desktop HTML file not found. This file is required to Active Desktop.
To turn off Active Desktop, click "OK"."

Please let me know if there is any method to turn off Active Desktop at the
stage of deploying a Windows Embedded(XPe)image to a target PC.

Thanks.

Hi nami,

Did you include "HTML Rendering Engine" into your configuration? Or you can
try to add "mshtml.dll" related files into system32 folder manually.

Regards,
Ethan

nami,

Please make sure "Primitive: Browseui", "HTML Rendering Engine", "Primitive: Oleaut32" and "Primitive: Shlwapi" components are in
your image. Last 3 components are probably in your image already if you use and resolved all Explorer Shell dependencies.

You may want to read through this blog page for more info about Active Desktop settings and components in XPe:
