Hi

I am experiencing something a little annoying with some magazine DVDs,
when they are inserted into the DVD drive. Autoplay runs correctly,
but I sometimes get a message box that states the following:

Internet Explorer

'Active content can harm your computer or disclose personal
information. Are you sure that you want to allow CDs to run active
content on your computer?'

There is then a link to: 'What you should know about active content'.
Also a check box labeled 'In the future do not show this message' and
both 'Yes' and 'No' buttons.

I check the check box, and click on the Yes button, and this disc runs
as normal. However, Windows does not seem to remember that the check
box has been checked and if I run the disc again, the question is
repeated. Is there a way of getting Windows to remember this, or is
this a deliberate security feature ? If it is, then I will live with
it. Can you help.

Yeah. It's an option under security in the advanced options of IE. I
disable the one for active content on My Computer as well, as it is annoying
when that happens when you are designing webpages.
