How do I activate the "Active chart" option in "Chart"
tab of "Options" selection under the "Tools" menu? I can
see it but I can't activate it.
Regards,
giacomo

Hi giacomo,

Try selecting the chart before going to Tools > Options

Cheers
Andy

Thanks very much Andy. It activated "active chart", but
unfortunately it doesn't solve my problem which is: I
would like the chart to ignore (ie not chart) cells with
no dates or numbers in them (just ""). Is that possible?
Thanks for your time,
giacomo

Hi,

If the cells with "" in are as a result of a formula then try using the
function NA() instead. This will stop lines from dropping to zero.
If you want ignore the cell you will have to hide the row or column.

Cheers
