So here is my story.

In May 2007 I finally got my new computer (I build it my self because it is
cheaper and i know many students do that to save money) and installed Windows
Vista Ultimate 64. Whole summer I didnt have any problems and just few days
ago my hard drive said me good bye and flew to heaven. I was lucky enougth
that i didnt have my projects from the university on it. I rushed to the shop
and bought another one but not the same model that i had. After I replaced
dead one with new one i faced another problem... THE ACTIVATION... it says
that the key is already in use by enother machine and tells me to buy a new
key. Why do i ahve to buy it if I already have the key in front of me and no
other machine is using it. I am not that rich to buy the key all the time.
Seriously what can i do now? I have no other computer to work on.

Hi,

You don't need to buy another key, you just need to use the phone activation
method. The 'over the 'net" activation method only works for the initial
installation. If the automated phone activation does not work, just hold the
line for a real person to assist you.
