Hi - I bought a new computer / new version of xp home a
couple of weeks ago - had problems with it - re-installed
windows (which solved all the problems) - except that I
can't activate windows - my product key is being used
on 'another' computer - the only possible cause of this
(that I can think of) is that as I re-installed windows,
I changed the hard drive that windows uses/is on.

Anyway, it won't re-activate, and the phone numbers the
activation 'wizard' gives me to call to rectify the
problem dont work properly - and soon I'm going to run
out of time and lose windows altogether -

anyone know anything else I can do to solve this ??

Thanx

Paul;
What do you mean "don't work properly"?
There are only 2 ways to activate, internet and phone.

There are only two ways to activate Windows XP:

1. via the internet

2. via the telephone
