I'll probably kick myself when I hear the answer, but the Background Sound
section of Page Properties is greyed out. I've recently re-installed FP and
I've of course forgotten anything useful I knew about it. I cannot add MID
files to my pages via HTML code either. What the heck am I overlooking?

With a page open, click Tools > Page Options, then click the Compatibility tab and set the dropdowns
to custom.
