I am just starting to build and sell custom PCs. I have bought a builder's
edition of XP Pro x64 and installed it on my PC. Have I made a mistake by
activating it? I am installing it on the computers that I am selling. Will it
be a problem for my customers?

You'll need to have a multiple xp license & number for the customer to
activate thier pc OS.If unsure of how it works or set-up,go to this link for

It is a violation of the license agreement to install it on more than one
PC, can't even begin to imagine how you came to the conclusion that the OEM
system builder version could be installed on as many PC's as you wish, all
the machines you sold with it installed need to be recalled and a proper
license purchased and installed on each one.

As I said in the original post, I am just starting out. I have read quite a
lot now and am beginning to understand more. Thanks sooo much for your
condescending attitude. A 30 pack of builders edition allows me to do quite a
bit. Thank you.
