Activating before SYSPREP? (again)

The only response I got was "And...?" last time I asked this.

I have an image of XP Home OEM currently not-activated and I've used
sysprep -reseal on it before making a second copy of this image. I want to
continue working on the non-reseal'd image to make changes, thus avoiding
the three -reseal limit problem.

If I activate this license, will "sysprep -reseal" allow both a new license
key and a new 30 day activation grace period?

My worry is after activating my master image, it won't allow a -reseal or a
new product key.
