After the June cutoff:

- Will I be able to reinstall and reactivate a previously-activated
copy of XP on the same system where it was originally activated?

- Will I be able to activate a never-before activated copy of XP?

Nothing to fill in, the OP was just confusing BUYING Windows XP, with
ACTIVATING Windows XP.

Microsoft is committed to maintaining activation long after XP is no longer
supported (April 2014).

There had been reports this past winter that some major corporations were
urging Microsoft to continue selling XP.

Will there be any channels through which users can still purchase XP?

None other than eBay that we can be sure of, unless MS permits
retailers to sell existing stock beyond the date manufacturers are
supposed to stop installing/selling it.
