When I go to a website and a large area is a link and I try to click on it a
box will appear around and a message saying click to activate control. How
do I get rid of this?

Back when they released the so called fix originally you could remove it. As
i did and the pages loaded fine as normal. but with the latest bunch of auto
updates the original is packaged in with one of the newer MUST HAVE updates,
so it looks like we are stuck with this cruddy feature which I myself hate.
and as you say the MVP response does not give any clues how to remove or
disable it.
