i keep getting action cancelled or page cannot be displayed when veiwing some
web pages, i am also unable to use the top highlighted links and side links
on google i think its because they are ads, some pop ups have this error too.
i ran adaware and pest patrol and thats when the problem started. they have
since been uninstalled. i'm running i.e.6 on xp with sp2, no pop-up blocker
running using windows firewall, security settings are low.
please help .thank you

Check for a file named HOSTS with no extension (not Hosts.sam). It may be a
hidden file. Open it with Notepad and remove any line referencing the site.
Or, rename HOSTS to OLDHOSTS
