I had to do a huge digital portfolio and I chose to do it in powerpoint even though I've never used it before. Anyway, I taught myself pretty well but I can't figure one thing out. I have a several table of content pages in my presentation with different titles on each. Next to each title, I have an action button set up. If the person viewing the show clicks on the action button, it will take them to the right show. But if the person clicks on the title that coinsides with the action button, the title will take them to some random slide. How do I get the action button and the title to take the viewer to the same slide? Thanks for your help.

What version of PowerPoint? (This makes a difference in the possible
solutions.)

How many hyperlinks would you guess are in this presentation and about what
would you say is the average link length? PowerPoint only has a limited
amount of room set aside for hyperlinks and other housekeeping stuff. ISTR
that it is about 32K total. If you have a lot of links (or long link paths)
then you will exceed this storage space and the results can be erratic.
This sound like it might be your case?

How are you creating you TOC slides? Automatically from within PowerPoint?

For content pages I like to use a box (AutoShape rectangle) for each title.
Then click on the margin of the box to use the whole area a a hyperlink. So
people can click on the title to navigate. Format it in background color if
you don't like to have a line around it.
