ACT 9.0 to Outlook

I am trying to import my ACT 9.0 contacts into Outlook 2003 (without BCM).
The Import Wizard in Outlook 2003 recognizes .DBF files, but all new ACT
files are now in a .PAD format.

My first preference is to use the Import Wizard. Does anyone know if there
is an update to Outlook that recognizes .PAD files, or if there is a third
party software that does that?

I also tried converting my ACT database into a CSV file, but when I try to
import that file into Outlook I get the message, "A file error has occurred
in the CSV translator while initiatlizing a translator to build a field map"

I have no idea why I need a "translator", but can I download oneanywhere?

I'm sorry that this has taken so much space, but I am truly frustrated.

Thanks to all!

I have the same problem. Sage completely ignores the issue, and while they
tout the new "Outlook integration" there doesn't seem to be any way to
actually DO it.

To make it even worse, after 30 days Sage refuses to give technical support
without charging an outrageous fee.

I wish MSFT had an add-in for Outlook that can import .PAD files. Anyone
out there listening?
