Has anyone got this working properly yet. I have found that i can
install it easily enough. The users are able to access the databse and
do normal ACT funtions without difficulty. However I cannot get their
email to work corectly.

Even if I try using ACT internet mail, Outlook or Outlook Express the
results are the same. Users end up seeing each others mail.

Even if I set up Outlook prior to installing ACT and they can
communicate correctly. As soon as you try and link ACT with outlook it
becomes "confused" and if two people are loged in they start to get
the same messagese as the other people.

Any thoughts.

Thanks

ACT isn't made to run on Terminal server (at least as of 2003/2004
versions) It's posted on their website.
I got it to run by modifying A LOT in the registry/permissions settings.
It's not worth it......too much non-sense to put up with.

Try Goldmine, that runs on Term server very well.

Using ACT! on a Terminal Server
http://itdomino.act.com/act.nsf/docid/2001214141728

This looks like your problem:

I also found this article about using it in a network environment:
http://itdomino.act.com/act.nsf/docid/2004322141316

There is this document about an email problem, but I don't think it realstes
to yours:

Hope some of this helps.

P.S. Make sure you comply with the EULA in regards to the number of ACT
licenses you should own.
