I have no interest except to provide info that might help someone.

You don't provide a link to see if there is a catch to it since the cost is half of
what it is from Acronis. It also may be an illegal copy being sold.

Newegg makes a difference to me, I would have checked if there was a catch ( which
there isn't ) but wouldn't have questioned if the product was legal.

I bought my copy from NewEgg as a download for a total price of $31.90,
which included a small extra charge described as something or other --
don't remember what right now. This is probably the same deal. I might
add that I had no knowledge of Acronis until I started following this
ng; using what I've learned here, my system is now Norton-free --
Hallelujah!

NewEgg is the first place I check when I'm planning to buy something.
Usually good prices, and a very good tracking system, though generally
my purchases have arrived before expected. Usual disclaimer: I have no
