\Recovery Manager \ ramdisk.dat

Shouldnt the image include something in the root that allows it to boot
and find the files in the above sub-directory?

Hidden partition called from the MBR

I have an expensive diagnostic program that fits on one floppy. Put it into
the computer and it boots. Go into Windows and look for files on drive a:
and you will see nothing.
