Hi all,

I've noticed a fairly unpredictable behavior from apps
such as Adobe Acrobat when launched from a Web page to
display a doc Etc. It happens when you launch an acrobat
file - it will either start up in a new window, or
sometimes not!
I'd like to know if possible, is there anyway to set this
behavior to be one or the other - just some consistency
would be nice.

TIA

Fred.

This depends on the configuration of each visitor's
browser, and there's no way to reliably override that.

If you always want a download to occur, you can download a
sample file and instructions by browsing:

then clicking Forcing File Downloads (ASP).
