Acquiring Windows XP Pro SP 3

I am attempting to set up a machine running Windows XP Pro in a RAID 1
environment. The RAID controller is a 3ware Escalade 8006-2LP and I've got 2
Hitachi 1 TB drives connected to it that I've partitioned so that the Windows
NTFS partitions is first on the disk, followed by a windows data partition.

My Win XP Pro install CD is marked as including "Service Pack 1". When I
went through the initial installation everything went fine up to the point of
rebooting the machine. After the reboot, I just get a blank screen with a
flashing cursor and no disk activity.

I've been in contact with Tech Support at 3ware and the upshot of our
conversation was that their drivers require XP service pack 3 to work and he
thinks that this is the problem. FWIW, that info is stated in the
documentation.

So, my question is this - is it possible to obtain an installation CD of
Windows XP Pro that includes SP-3 or a downloadable ISO that I can put on CD?
I already own the license, I just need it with the additional service packs.

Thanks.

Head over to this:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloadS/d...displaylang=en

and download the SP3 update. Then, locate info on how to integrate it
into a revised XP install CD (aka slipstreaming.)

Slipstreaming is somewhat a vague process,it may work,& it may not,if
not it ruins the cd..Either way,its probably not needed, have you configured
the RAID set in the BIOS,set cdrom with xp as 1st boot priority,RAID 2nd,is
BIOS set to work with SATA & IDE...My D845PEBT2 intel board (mfg 2003),
ran & installed RAID 0 on xp cd (2002) w/o any service packs just fine,RAID
hds both raw,& 500GB each.
